  • As a Latina from Miami, I’m proud to serve Columbia’s vast student body as University Senator. Coming from a low income background, I want to ensure everyone’s voices are being heard and bring unity to our unique community of Lions. Through the creation of legislation and initiatives that give back to our Harlem neighborhood, I hope our Columbia family continues to grow and prosper together.

  • Hi everyone! My name is Karla Camacho, and I am from Orange County, California. I am so excited to be serving as your sophomore class Vice President! I am a first-generation Latina, double-majoring in Ethnicity and Race Studies and Political Science. Other than CCSC, I am involved with Columbia's FLI Network and political volunteering off-campus. In my free time I'll be trying different foods around the city, dancing, or watching sitcoms. If you ever have any suggestions or just want to talk, say hi around campus or email me at [email protected]!
