Adam Kluge

A junior in Columbia College, majoring in History and Political Science, Adam is an avid advocate for equity, justice, and community-oriented solutions to inequality in his surrounding communities. At Columbia, he is actively involved with on-campus politics, writing for the Columbia Political Review, while volunteering with the Columbia University Democrats and the Roosevelt Institute; as well as on-campus theatre and a cappella. Adam is passionate about human rights and the intersection of identity politics and social equality, serving as a member of the Student Advisory Board for the Holder Initiative for Civil and Political Rights, while volunteering with Amnesty International, the Justice-in-Education Initiative on Rikers Island, and as a co-chair for Columbia Voting Week 2020. He also serves as Programming Chair for the University Life Events Council, allowing him to create/support inclusive social programming across the greater Columbia community.
