Columbia College Student Council Policy Initiatives

We’re so excited to introduce FREE menstrual products (and contraceptives soon) to our residence halls! For our menstrual products, we are partnering with Aunt Flow. You can find them now and we encourage you to use as many as you want & need.

This initiative is an extension of our pilot program from the spring, referendum in the fall and part of a year-long pilot program through University Housing. We’re hopeful to showcase a demand for these products through the calendar year to eventually secure long-term access. Stay tuned for a survey as we want to hear your feedback on access to these products!

Please find below the locations of the bathrooms with tampons and pads. If you have any questions or concerns, please email [email protected].

More info coming soon!

CCSC has been working in collaboration with the Mental Health Task Force to address mental health issues on campus. We have discussed structural shortcomings at the University level that may be contributing to and aggravating the stress culture and mental health atmosphere on campus.
