Two Pulitzer Prize finalists from the Wall Street Journal discuss how they uncovered one of the world’s largest financial scandals and turned the material into a narrative nonfiction book. BRADLEY HOPE is an international financial enterprise reporter for the Wall Street Journal based in London. Before joining the Journal, he covered the Arab Spring revolutions in Egypt, Libya, Tunisia and Bahrain for The National newspaper in Abu Dhabi. He got his start as the police reporter for the now-defunct New York Sun. TOM WRIGHT is a Hong Kong-based journalist with The Wall Street Journal. He is a Pulitzer finalist, a Loeb winner, and has garnered numerous awards from the Society of Publishers in Asia, which in 2016 named him “Journalist of the Year.” Sponsored by the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism & #CJS Global, with financial support from the Sevellon-Brown Fund.
