As part of the WE ACT Black and Green Summer Movie Series, join us for an outdoor viewing of the VICELAND film Sacred Water: Standing Rock. The film tells the story of the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation of North and South Dakota who are fighting to stop a pipeline from being built on their ancestral homeland. The tribe fears that a leak could contaminate the Missouri River and spell disaster for the Great Sioux Nation. Live music from 7-8 pm, movie begins at dusk.
