The Harriman Institute and the Barnard Music Department present a performance by the Barnard-Columbia Chorus and Chamber Singers conducted by Gail Archer. The program features The All Night Vigil, Sergei Rachmaninoff's 1915 composition that incorporates liturgical texts of the Russian Orthodox Church (performed by the Barnard-Columbia Chorus), as well as chamber works by Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Balakirev, Ippolitof-Ivanov, and Leontovich (performed by the Barnard-Columbia Chamber Singers). This event is part of the Harriman Institute's 75th Anniversary Celebration.
