Please join us for the screening of Tell Her (2020) and the following discussion with the film director Aleksander Molochnikov. A prominent Russian theatre and film director, Molochnikov staged several major performances at the Moscow Art Theatre as well as at the Bolshoi. He is widely known for his work on television and was a recent guest on the popular YouTube show hosted by Yuri Dud'. Set in St. Petersburg, Tell Her is a young adult drama focusing on a Russian family undergoing a painful divorce. When his mother moves to the United States, 11-year -old Sasha is pulled apart emotionally between two parents, both of whom he loves, and two cultures.  Moderated by Mark Lipovetsky and Tanya Efremova.
