Please join for a lecture with: Professor Jie-hyun Lim, Sogang University, Seoul; Director, Critical Global Studies Institute; Visiting scholar, Weatherhead East Asian Institute, Columbia University Moderated by: Carol Gluck, George Sansom Professor of History, Columbia University Lim uses his well-known thesis on "victimhood nationalism" to explain how national memories compete with one another in the global memory space, highlighting entangled histories across postwar and contemporary Japan, Korea, Poland, Germany, and Israel.
