Description: Brazil is taking important steps to improve the efficiency of the country’s financial system, with regulations that will simplify and facilitate access to capital markets, stimulate savings, and diversify financial intermediation. The recently launched “Initiative of Capital Markets” aims to increase the depth and breadth of the capital markets, thereby reducing the cost of capital. Another initiative is the development of Open Banking, a framework by which Fintechs will be governed.
