What does the sling mean for our understanding of the work?

One of the great Greek and Roman archaeologists of our time, Luca Giuliani (Italian Academy Fellow 2022) also trained in social anthropology and Italian literature. He was a curator in the Antikenmuseum in West Berlin; he taught at the University of Freiburg and at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich; and he served as Rector of the Institute of Advanced Study (Wissenschaftskolleg) in Berlin, where he still holds the position of Permanent Fellow.
