Nollywood began in Nigeria in the 1990s and has grown into one of the most recognized cultural centers of the world, producing more movies every year than Hollywood and almost as many as Bollywood. Please join us for a panel discussion at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. The panel will include Emily Witt JS'09, author of "Nollywood"; Brian Larkin, Director of the Institute of African Studies at Columbia University and a professor at Barnard; and Daniel Oriahi, director of the Nollywood film "Taxi Driver" (2015).
