How (neuro)scientists can fight for strong policies for climate action: Daphna Shohamy Interviews Adam Aron

Join us for a discussion with Daphna Shohamy, PhD, and Adam Aron, PhD, as they delve into Adam's remarkable journey from neuroscience to climate change advocacy. In this engaging conversation, they will explore the intriguing interplay between climate advocacy and a career in neuroscience, dissecting the common threads and ways academics can shape policies in this critical domain.

The interview will explore the significance of impactful policy measures within academic institutions, local communities, and broader regions. Central to this exchange is the notion of “social mobilization," what it means and how it can be utilized by scientists for climate change issues. Attendees will emerge with an understanding of effective strategies for scholarly advocacy and an understanding of how they can champion meaningful change.
