The premiere screening of "Above the Drowning Sea," a documentary about Jewish refugees in Shanghai during WWII, and meeting with the filmmakers Rene Balcer, award-winning producer of "Law and Order" and Carolyn Hsu-Balcer, designer, philanthropist and art collector. Introduced and moderated by Prof. Ying Qian, Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures.
