Where does Chinese society come from, where is it going to, and who is it today? There are at least three ways to tell this story. The government has their way. The western academic circles have another way. The Chinese intellectuals are also looking for a way of narration and reconceptualization. This presentation focuses on the way that Chinese non-government intellectuals are trying to go, and trying to redefine the Chinese regime in western academic concept.
