Gary Abernathy is a conservative writer and contributing columnist for The Washington Post. From 2011 to 2018, he was publisher and editor of the Times-Gazette in Hillsboro, Ohio, which was one of the few newspapers to endorse Donald Trump in 2016. He has worked in Republican Party politics in Ohio and West Virginia and currently is a Highland County, Ohio, commissioner. Sally Kohn is a liberal commentator who appears frequently on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News. Her book, The Opposite of Hate: A Field Guide to Repairing Our Humanity, was published in 2018.
