Join the Emerging Voices program at the Saltzman Insittute of War and Peace Studies for a discussion with Maggie Feldman-Piltch on women in security and intelligence studies. Maggie Feldman-Piltch is the Managing Director of Unicorn Strategies and Founder of #NatSecGirlSquad, a social impact consulting company and professional development community for people committed to competent diversity in national security and defense. #NSGS occupies both a macro and a micro-niche in the space, providing technical assistance to federal agencies and mission-driven organizations on recruiting, retaining, and supporting a diverse workforce, while reinforcing confidence among individual members through events, programming, and coordinated networks of support. On average, more than 15,000 people per month engage #NatSecGirlSquad. Previously, Maggie led American Security Project’s US-Cuba Program, including its 2017 Track II Dialogue between retired senior American military officers and their active duty counterparts in Havana. She built ASP’s Women in Security Leadership Initiative (WiSe), the organization’s weekly podcast series “What’s Next?,” and launched the Business Council for American Security while simultaneously supporting the CEO, Board, and Consensus for American Security.
