NOTE: This workshop will be held in-person, in the Music & Arts Library, 701 Dodge

In this workshop, there will be a basic overview of adding sound to video game environments in Unreal Engine 4. Prior experience with UE4 is highly recommended, but prior experience with audio editing and creation is not required.

Bringing your laptop with UE4 installed is recommended, but not required. It is free to download and use for non-commercial applications and educational use.

This workshop is part of a three-part mini-series, which also includes an introduction to the UE4 software and the use of the middleware program FMOD. Attendance at other workshops in this series is recommended, but not required.

This workshop is taught by John Thomas Levee. He is an artist and composer, who is currently pursuing his MFA in Sound Art at Columbia University.
