In this workshop, there will be a basic introduction to multichannel audio, as well as the spatialization of sound using multiple speakers. The software used in this workshop will be Logic Pro X. Prior experience with Logic is highly recommended, but not required.
Bringing your laptop with Logic Pro X installed is recommended, but not required.
This workshop is part of a three-part mini-series, which also includes a lecture on Field Recording and a workshop on Soundscape Composition. Attendance at other workshops in this series is recommended, but not required.
This workshop is taught by John Thomas Levee. He is an artist and composer, who is currently pursuing his MFA in Sound Art at Columbia University.
