A lecture by Raven Chacon, composer, performer and installation artist from the Navajo Nation.

Response by Lucia Allais, Associate Professor and Director of the Buell Center, and Mario Gooden, Professor of Professional Practice and Interim Director of the Master in Architecture Program.

Raven Chacon is a Diné (Navajo) artist born in 1979 in Fort Defiance, Arizona, and is based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He works across different mediums as a composer of chamber music, a performer of experimental noise music, and a visual artist.

This lecture will be held in person and is accessible to Columbia University affiliates with a valid green pass, and will be live-streamed for the general public on the GSAPP YouTube Channel.
