America/New_York

Drawing on their MBA elective Modern Political Economy, Glenn Hubbard and Tano Santos will apply lessons from Adam Smith – whose 300th birthday is this year – and other classical thinkers to today’s biggest business challenges. Join for a discussion of trade and the Inflation Reduction Act; technology, workers, and alienation; competition; and business’ role in society. The Smith of The Wealth of Nations has long been celebrated by business and political leaders. The Smith of The Theory of Moral Sentiments also brings wisdom to todays’ C-suites and halls of power.

Lunch will be provided for registered attendees while supplies last. Note that you will need to provide a government issued ID that matches the name used on your registration to enter the event. For further inquiries or assistance, please contact us at [email protected].
