If you are a new Stata user or if you haven’t used Stata for a while, this is the right session for you. This Stata refresh workshop will cover how to manage your (reproducible) data workflow, run descriptive statistics, and create tables and data visualizations for academic purposes.
The first hour of the workshop will be hands-on practice. In the last half hour, you are welcome to discuss your own questions related to Stata and/or any other data analysis tools (such as R, SPSS, etc.) with the Research Support & Data Services librarian.
This is an in-person workshop (without recording), located in Room 215, Lehman Social Sciences Library. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laptops with Stata installed. Attendees without an individual Stata license can use one of the six desktops in the room, first come first serve.
