The Brazil Research Seminar Series invites you to the discussion titled, “Challenges of Urban Development in Brazil and Latin America ” with Rodrigo Rosa, Visiting Scholar – Columbia University. Rodrigo Rosa will discuss critical urban development challenges of cities in Brazil and Latin America such as the metropolization trend, inequality, mobility, environmental protection, social development, violence, cultural heritage and the emergence of intermediary cities. Main governance issues will also be discussed as well as paths to improve the quality of urban sustainable development in the region.
