The Latin American Student Association 2017 conference will address Latin American cities' innovative approach to the region's biggest challenges. Experts will discuss the role of the private sector, public-private partnerships, and the way technology and entrepreneurship are fostering new ways of maximizing social impact. We will have two panels: Creative Latin America, Innovative Solutions: Latin America has become a model for creative thinking and innovation in solving social issues. This panel will talk about the region's main challenges and the way the public and the private sector are using technology and entrepreneurship to foster new ways of maximizing impact. Smart Latin America: Sustainable cities disrupting the Region: By 2050 90% of the world population will live in cities. This panel will discuss the power of metropolitan cities in the Latin America as hubs for sustainable growth and social inclusion. The panelists will show their experience in forward thinking solutions that focus on urban transport, culture and resiliency in the region.
