Live audio processing (Instructor: Ása Ólafsdóttir, MFA Sound Art program)

This workshop offers an introduction to live processing of instruments and voice in a musical context. We will try using effect pedals as well as digital plugins and possibly take a peak at a Max patch. At the end of the workshop you will have learned how to take your first steps to using live processing independently.

Bring your instrument if you have one!

This workshop will be held in the Seminar Room of the Music & Arts Library, on the 7th floor of Dodge Hall. Ask for directions at the circulation desk in the library.

The workshop is open to current Columbia/Barnard students, faculty and staff. Questions? Please contact [email protected].
