Sound Art MFA, Columbia Composers, Rage Thormbones, and special guests present an afternoon and evening of electro-acoustic works traversing and inhabiting the boundaries between composition, improvisation, and installation art. The event will include a wide range of interdisciplinary approaches to sound, including world premieres for Rage Thormbones, performances by robotic instruments, multi-channel tape pieces, live explorations of textual databases, performance installations and more.
