Want to try your hand at making paint from scratch? Join the Making and Knowing Project and the Barnard Design Center to learn how 16th-century artisans combined art and science to create brilliant colors. Students will use traditional methods and materials to transform the azurite mineral from a rock to blue paint. No painting experience is necessary!
