The SIPA Progressive Security Working Group (PSWG) and the Arnold A. Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies present a panel discussion and dialogue: "#MeToo and the National Security Space," an examination of sexism and sexual harassment in national security. Panelists in different stages of their careers, from policy school students to former senior officials, will discuss both the lived experience of harassment and sexism in America's security establishment and strategies for combating the sector's patriarchal norms. Featuring Antonia Chayes, Professor of Practice of International Politics and Law, The Fletcher School of International Affairs, Tufts University: V. Page Fortna, Harold Brown Professor of US Foreign and Security Policy, Department of Political Science, Columbia University; Dipali Mukhopadhyay, Assistant Professor of International and Public Affairs at SIPA, Columbia University; and several others to be announced.
